The pasta alone should receive 10 starts seriously!! We had the one with the mussels and tomato.
It’s supposed to be for two people, when it arrived we thought it was going to be too much… but it was so light and so delish that we ended up eating everything. We shared a salad before that that was very good as well (the goat cheese one)

“The Hangout” is super authentic and a small, charming surfer-style restaurant. The service was really friendly and perfectly matched the laid-back vibe of the place. 🤙 We had the pasta for two — a very simple dish that was turned into a delicious meal with love and the right spices. Absolutely recommendable! It was the perfect spot to wind down and enjoy the evening.

The best sandwiches we have ever had! The three of us tried three different sandwiches and all three were amazing. The staff were fantastic and the coffee was tasty. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Sagres area to stop by. Absolute hidden gem 🤩

We had a great experience at the Hangout! Describe the casual description of the place, be forewarned that, at least during peak season, you need to make reservations as it's a small space that probably can't seat more than 20-30 people. We ended up finally getting a reservation on our final night in Sagres, and it was a great high to end our visit on! The pasta dishes are quite large - they the pasta feeds 2 hungry dudes but I would say 3 normal adults, especially if you add on a salad or starter. Even our 7 year old loved the pasta. We also tried one of the sandwiches under the "bites" that had a local pork that was incredibly delicious (albeit a bit decadent). The chocolate fondant is not to miss - I'm a bit chocolate fan and I have to tell you this is an extremely well balanced and flavorful dessert.- Wait time

Such a lovely little spot! The place is super cozy and decorated with so much love. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, which makes you feel instantly comfortable. And the pasta… wow! Absolutely delicious, probably the best I’ve had in a long time. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to again and again!

Don't be fooled by the relaxed cafe vibe, this is top level eating. Everything is made by someone that cares about their craft. Best coffee in Sagres, amazing home made lemonade and delicious food. The chef is a master baker. Best viennoiserie pastry I have ever tasted.

The staff were so welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home right away. Portions were spot-on, and the prices were more than fair for the quality and experience.

What started from a small hunger has turned out to be my first review ever. After a few days of wild camping, we happened to fall upon this spot. Few times have we eaten so well! We were lucky to have been served by the super friendly Kewyn. Thanks to the chef and all those working at The Hangout for this surprising culinary experience.

This is a must stop for the food and atmosphere! Absolutely fabulous place, honestly the nicest sandwich I’ve ever had, best food we’ve had on our holiday! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend !

A great find in Sagres! A perfect little spot to grab some fantastic food and kick back and relax. Eggs were really good with a generous serving and the black pork focaccia is absolutely bomb! Awesome vibes and friendly staff. Gotta go here!

Good made cappuccino, they had specialties except what was on the menu, one of which was steak for like 350-400 gr for just 30€ and it was really correct cooked, juicy and flavoured. The menu also looks attractive to come back and try out other dishes 🫶 oh and they are super friendly!!! Great job and vibe, guys!
